MyLondonHome honoured at the prestigious Estate & Letting Agent Awards 2010

The London agency MyLondonHome was recently recognised for its excellent customer service as voted for by their clients during the course of 2009. The award was announced by Phil Spencer, presenter of Channel 4’s Location, Location, Location property programme at a lavish luncheon & ceremony in Mayfair, London attended by 450 of the UK’s top estate and letting agents.

Phil Spencer said “By entering the awards agents have put their reputation on the line, they’ve been brave, and they’ve done what others are afraid to do.  They’ve said to their customers and their competitors – that they believe in providing the best possible service and they want to prove it.  They’ve been recognised for their bravery and all that hard work involved to get to the final shortlist.”

The results of the competition were determined by research carried out amongst customers who were asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent. Over 19,000 votes were received making the awards the most important and valuable in the industry.

Steven A. Herd, Managing Director of MyLondonHome, said, “When I formed MyLondonHome some 8 years ago
I wanted ethics and genuine customer care to be at the heart of everything we did. After 25 years in the industry I had quite a poor opinion of some of the practices I had seen, and this award just proves that if you work hard enough at your core principles of clarity, transparency and ethical behavior then you will be rewarded”

MyLondonHome are specialists in central London letting - in 2009 some 67% of tenancies have been to corporate tenants.

Winning gold for top London letting agents is a fantastic achievement and clearly a tribute to the company ethics and ability to provide an outstanding service within a highly competitive capital city.
