Berkshire is situated in the South of England, the main county town of Berkshire is Reading. Other larger towns in Berkshire include Bracknell, Hungerford, Maidenhead, Newbury, Reading, Slough and Windsor. The county has some outstanding natural beauty and has the Rivers Kennet and Thames flowing through. With the Ridegway National Trail crossing the downs in the North and the West of the county. There is a vast amount of heritage in the county including Windsor Castle and the Royal Ascot race meetings.
