Accommodation to Let Wrexham

The old market town of Wrexham (Wrecsam in Welsh) is located on the Clywedog river, where the hills of North Wales meet the Cheshire plains.  Although not mentioned in the domesday book, there were references to Wrexham as early as 1161 when there was a Norman Castle at 'Wristlesham',  Documents from the 17th century also suggest that there were thriving markets held in Wrexham every Tuesday and Thursday as early as 1620.  The church of St. Giles dates back to 1740, and is one of the finest old Gothic buildings in North Wales.
