Devon is located in the South West corner of England. The county has borders with Cornawall to the West and Dorset and Somerset to the East. The overall population of the county is around 1,100,000. Devon is split into 10 main areas which included, Exeter, East Devon, Mid Devon, North Devon, Torridge, West Devon, South Hams, Teignbridge, Plymouth and Torbay. The county town of Devon is Exeter. Other main towns in the county include, Barnstaple, Honiton, Newton Abbot, Plymouth and Torquay.
