PLJ Properties are an independent Jesmond based property rental agency specialising in shared rental accommodation for both student and professional tenants with properties throughout Newcastle upon Tyne.

PLJ Properties personally handle the rental of properties and over the years have built up a good client base of both students, professionals and individuals who are looking for shared accommodation. A good percentage of the new tenants come to PLJ Properties via personal recommendation from existing or previous tenants. An added advantage for the tenant is that in handling the rental in-house, the tenant is not liable for agency fees, which can often be as much as one month's rent. PLJ Properties tenancy agreements are for a minimum term of 6 months, although with students a 12 months tenancy is normally arranged.

All tenants are given the option well in advance of expiry of their tenancy to extend their contract should they so wish. Existing tenants will always be given, on expiry of their tenancy, first option to move to any of our other properties that may be available at the time. This is particularly of interest to tenants where one person may leave the group and the remainder of the group would like to stay together. This is always a possibility due to the fact that PLJ Properties have 2-8 bed roomed properties. PLJ Properties require a security deposit to be paid which is kept until the expiry of the tenancy.
